Marianne graduated from the College of Physiotherapy and completed her Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (OMT) Course in 1982. She has been in practice for over 40 years and has vast experience. Her special interests are spinal related problems, headaches and facial pain, neurodynamic dysfunction, chronic pain and lifestyle management, as well as CranioSacral Therapy. Her approach is a holistic, biopsychosocial model and she likes to work in a team set-up. She has also assisted on the OMT course.
As a young teenager, Karin already knew that she wanted to become a physiotherapist. She graduated from the College of Physiotherapy in 1975. Karin joined the practice in 1981 after working at other practices upon the completion of her studies. She completed her Orthopaedic Manual Therapy Course in 1982. She loves her work and has never regretted her career choice. Her main interest is in spinal related problems, but she also does general orthopaedics, bronchitis, sinusitis, CranioSacral Therapy and the occasional neurology treatments. She has a special interest in treating hand and feet injuries.
Louise graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2000. Over the past 18 years she has worked in different areas including hospital and private practice. These different clinical settings helped her to gain experience in general orthopaedics, chronic neck- and back pain and post-surgical rehabilitation. Currently her special interests include spinal orthopaedics (pre- and post-surgery), as well as chronic pain relief. She has experience in a wide variety of treatment methods such as dry needling, taping and CranioSacral Therapy.
Suzanne graduated from the University of Pretoria as a qualified Physiotherapist in 2013. She completed her Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (OMT) Course in 2016 and has been assisting on the course. She joined the practice in 2017. She has a special interest in general orthopaedics including post-surgical rehabilitation as well as headaches and chronic pain relief. Suzanne has also completed courses in dry needling and taping amongst others including CranioSacral Therapy.
Lisé-Mari completed her Physiotherapy degree at the University of Pretoria in 2008. She completed the Orthopaedic Manipulation Therapy (OMT) Course in 2014 and has since been assisting on the North Gauteng course. She has a keen interest in treating orthopaedic patients in hospital and outpatient settings. She has also done various strapping, dry needling and other courses.
Mart-Mari graduated from the University of Pretoria as a qualified Physiotherapist in 2013. She completed her Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (OMT) Course in 2015. She has a special interest in general back and neck treatment including post-surgical rehabilitation. Mart-Mari has also completed the dry needling course amongst others.
Julandri graduated from the University of Pretoria as a qualified Physiotherapist in 2018. She has a special interest in spinal rehabilitation with emphasis on pain management. She also enjoys general orthopaedics, working in a hospital setting and to always keep up to date with the newest research. Julandri has completed a course in dry needling amongst others and serves as part of the committee of the Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy Group of the SASP.
Klara van der Walt
Klara graduated from the University of Pretoria as a qualified Physiotherapist in 2018. She has a special interest in sport and peripheral injuries and has a passion for rehab. Klara herself participates in various sports and finds joy in seeing her patients return to play. Klara has completed a course in dry needling and sports strapping amongst others and serves as part of the committee of the Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy Group of the SASP. Klara also completed the BASI Pilates Mat Course.
Johané qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of Pretoria in 2016.
She gained experience while working at a private practice mostly treating low back pain, headaches, and sport injuries as well as treating cardiopulmonary and cardiovascular conditions in hospital. Johané completed several courses including the McKenzie (MDT) Method in spinal and peripheral pain, dry needling, and taping. In her free time she likes to hike, travel, make clothes and spend quality time with family and friends.
Our Administration Staff
Monica Hinze is the practice manager and has been working for the practice for longer than 13 years. She is responsible for bookkeeping, accounts, and medical aid queries.
Madelaine van Meyeren has been working with Marianne for longer than 32 years and is responsible for administration of appointments, filing and general reception management.
Elna Moller is the newest member of our team. She will assist you with account queries and appointments as well as medical aid queries.
